Antelope Canyon

Miles Monday: 0

Hours in the saddle: 0

Monday, we took a boat tour of Antelope Canyon. I will update this post later with pictures. The internet sucks so much, we’re a bit annoyed. Julie found a good dystopia series and worked really hard to get the 2nd book after a really bad cliffhanger. I had my kindle, ipad and phone all working on it and at one point they were all sitting there thinking. It was barbaric.

The boat tour left from our hotel lobby and seemed to be an easier way to see Antelope Canyon since I’ve read that it gets really crowded. It’s in Navajo Nation and you have to go with a Navajo guide by foot, and Julie looked in to some of those tours. One of our boat crew said that the US government owns the water, but rhe Navajo Nation owns the land.

I tried to capture the boat making tight turns and how narrow the canyon was. It was really cool. The sky was clear and we went on a morning cruise so it wasn’t too hot.

Back to the hotel room to wait out the afternoon heat and plan our next journey, to Colorado. Hard to do with shitty unreliable internet. But that’s where we’re headed tomorrow.
